Technology

Structured. Traceable. Honest about limits.

Brazilian mineral rights information is public, but fragmented across agencies, systems and formats. Our technology is built to bring it together into a single, verifiable reading, and to say clearly what could not be verified.

01

Data

Our methodology starts from official public sources. The first is the National Mining Agency (ANM): its geospatial service for mineral right polygons and its mining registry for process history.

Additional territorial and environmental layers from official Brazilian agencies are being incorporated progressively. Each source is catalogued with its address, access method and known limitations.

  • Some official systems require human-assisted consultation, for example where a captcha protects access. We do not bypass access controls.
  • When a source is offline or returns an incomplete response, the indicator is recorded as Not verified, never as an irregularity.
02

Methodology

Indicators are organized in five categories: regulatory, territorial, title, judicial and environmental. Each category receives a level: High, Medium, Low or Not verified.

There is deliberately no overall score and no go / no-go verdict. Investment decisions belong to the investor and their advisers; our role is to make the underlying facts clear.

03

Traceability

Every statement in a report points to its evidence: the source, the address consulted, the date of access and a SHA-256 hash of the response obtained. The hash allows anyone to confirm the evidence has not changed since collection.

Reports are reviewed by an analyst before delivery. Unreviewed output is marked as a draft.

04

Artificial intelligence

We apply artificial intelligence to accelerate the reading and cross-checking of documents, process histories and technical records, so relevant facts surface faster.

Every AI-assisted output is reviewed by a specialist and keeps its link to the original evidence. Risk levels and legal conclusions are always signed off by people, never by an automated model alone.

Limitations

  • Public records can be incomplete, outdated or inconsistent between systems. We report what the sources show on the date of access.
  • The absence of a record is not proof of the absence of a risk.
  • Some sources can only be consulted manually or with human assistance; these steps are identified in each report.
  • Our reports are informational. They are not a legal opinion and not an investment recommendation.
  • Scope, deliverables and timelines are agreed for each engagement.
